Abstract

Introduction: Given the increasing occurrence and severity of disasters in recent decades, including earthquakes, floods, and pandemics, the health system’s responsibility for providing rapid, effective, and humane responses to crises has become more prominent than ever. In this context, emergency medical services and disaster preparedness, as crucial components of public health protection, require special attention in policymaking, education, and investment.
