Abstract

Introduction: Human health is closely connected to both internal and external factors, and the gut microbiome, as one of the key factors regulating human health, has become a focus of life science research. In this regard, a deeper understanding of the role of the gut microbiome in prevention and treatment of chronic diseases might pave the way for new therapeutic approaches.
